John McBride - Organising the 2026 Manx Grand Prix

The 2026 Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT are fast approaching, with both events to bring racing back to the Snaefell Mountain Course once more from 16-28 August.When it comes to the Manx Grand Prix specifically, a lot of what it takes to put the event on falls on the meeting's organisers, the Manx Motor Cycle Club.And as with any motorsport event around the world, the club is having to balance getting things ready for the here and now whilst also looking at how to progress going forward.John McBride is the chair of the Manx Motor Cycle Club and we've been speaking with him to get his thoughts on the status of the Manx Grand Prix in the road racing world and to find out how preparations have been going for 2026:
