Deer Tick epitomizes high-energy performance with their (historically) beer soaked, grunge-based and hyper-physical brand of post-punk epic rock shows. At the same time, and what really casts Deer Tick in a unique spotlight, is their heartfelt, often poignant and frequently sardonic lyrics that bring together both the energy and the soul-searching depth of what music is all about. John and Ian have been intertwined musically and personally for over a decade now and their friendship plays out on both a personal and professional level while their chemistry is evident both onstage and off. As Deer Tick evolves as a band and as human beings, they retain what has brought them together in the first place; the desire to bring music to their fans in a pure and unadulterated way and to have the most fun doing so as possible.
