John Millard
from The Christian Hansen Show Hosted by Christian Hansen
John Millard is a 16 year old guitar prodigy who's from the suburbs of Chicago, a city that has fostered some of the biggest musicians to ever exist from Muddy Waters, B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, Otis Rush, etc. While John is only 16 years of stage he's already established himself within the Chicago blues community by getting to play with some of the best to ever do it in the blues music world such as John Primer, Jimmy Burns, Mike Wheeler and even 8 X Grammy Award Winning Buddy Guy among many others. John also is the man behind the official show music of this very podcast! John sat down with me a few weeks back to discuss the importance of the blues, dealing with the loss of his father who recently passed away this year, the formation of his band The Uncle Funk Blues Band and much more!
