John-o-logue: USA & Augie hockey's huge wins & Augie-USF delivers a thriller

It wasn't a miracle, but it sure was a thrill.    The USA men's hockey team provided a Sunday morning spine-tingler for the ages. It wasn't just that they won, but how they won that was so endearing — especially to those who don't watch hockey regularly.   The Happy Hour host is one of those people and leads Monday's show with that angle, then celebrates a clutch if not monumental win for Augustana's hockey team the night before.   The Vikings scored three goals in the final period at St. Thomas to win 4-0 and grab first place in the CCHA. Augie will be off this upcoming weekend while the other contenders will play and have a chance to knock them off that pedestal. But no matter what, the Vikings have clinched home ice for the first round of the conference tournament, which starts March 6.    What has been the key to Garrett Raboin's team performing like this and taking another step from the second year of the program to the third? Hear what he told Happy Hour just a couple weeks ago.   Then, there's Augustana men's basketball, which won a thrilling 104-93 showdown against backyard rival Sioux Falls on Saturday afternoon to cap a 16-6 regular season NSIC run, good for the No. 2 seed in the league's tournament, which starts on Wednesday. The Vikings get a bye that night by finishing among the top four.   So, how did they do that after a 12-18 rookie campaign from former Augie standout Cody Schilling?
