John Paul: Resolve (Unshakeable Series)

What does it mean to live an unshakable life in a culture that pulls you in a different direction? In this message from Daniel 1, we explore the power of resolve — the decision to remain faithful to God, even when everything around us pressures us to conform. Daniel and his friends faced three major challenges: • A new education shaped by Babylonian culture • New names designed to redefine their identity • Royal food that conflicted with their convictions Yet Daniel resolved not to defile himself. His quiet, courageous obedience led to God’s favour and blessing. We reflect on what it means for us today: Daniel resolved — intentional faithfulness matters. God blessed Daniel’s action — obedience invites transformation (Romans 12:1–2). What about broken resolutions? — grace meets us when we fall. Remember, we are exiles — called to live distinct lives that glorify God (1 Peter 2:11–12). In a world that constantly seeks to reshape our identity, this message challenges us to anchor ourselves in who God says we are and to live with courage, conviction, and hope. 📖 Key Scriptures: Daniel 1:1–17; Romans 12:1–2; 1 Peter 2:11–12 #Unshakable #Resolve #Daniel1 #FaithInExile #ChristianDiscipleship #LifeVineyardChurch
