For more than 15 years, John Pinette has been making people laugh and he's done it, mostly by poking fun at his own life. According to John, it's the funniest thing he can think of. Like every great comic, he has paid his dues. His first huge break came in the early 90's, when he became Frank Sinatra's opening act. John has also starred in the hit Broadway musical 'Hairspray' and appeared in 'Duets' with Gwenyth Paltrow, 'The Punisher' with John Travolta and 'Junior' with Arnold Schwarzenegger But his passion is stand up. John's been named Comedian of the Year at the American Comedy Awards and he was nominated for a Gemini Award for a routine at Just For Laughs. He also holds the Just For Laughs record for the fastest selling solo show in festival history. These days, John is back on a Canadian tour called 'I Still Say Nay Nay.'
