Check out his podcast here: https://passionstruck.com/ This Episode’s Heavy-hitter’s: John’s father and grandfather served before him, and John’s grandfather was actually recruited into the Chemical Warfare division of the military by his college chemistry professor. This didn’t affect John’s decision to join the military, however, because his grandfather had taken a 50-year vow of silence and wasn’t able to tell John that story until he was 38 years old. Working alongside many international forces like the Italians and the French, John actually became a spook as part of a special unit and was leading forces for operations around the world. After leaving the military and testing for a year to become a special agent at the FBI, John’s unit was recycled as a result of an issue in the budget, and he was forced to find a job in corporate America. John had an epiphany about 7 years ago that led him to pivot to own his own company and pursue more of his own passions without wearing himself too thin. John went through a home burglary that was an inside job by the head of repairs at a rental company that was working at his house. He experienced a period of intense anxiety afterwards, not to mention losing $100,000 in belongings and family heirlooms.
