John Robb (The Membranes, Goldblade)

Post Punk legend and founder of The Membranes and Goldblade, John Robb. Before we go any further, the connection John and I had was not great. I’m releasing it, even with less than perfect audio because the conversation was great with some killer stories. John has been everywhere, done everything, and knows everybody! He tells me about playing punk gigs in church basements as a kid, playing illegal gigs in Czechoslovakia, and building a bass guitar out of driftwood. He’s one of the few people I know who has been even more productive during the pandemic than before! He also discusses his music website Louder Than War and how he started interviewing musicians.
