JOHN ROEDEL: "Remedy" & "Upon Departure"

Several million people, myself included, I fell in love with today's podcast guest around the same time - when a poem he wrote and published to his Facebook page went viral. It began, "my brain and heart divorced a decade ago over who was to blame about how big of a mess I have become.."  and we could all relate.  This father of three and stand-up comic had turned to writing some years earlier to try and sort out the tsunami of anxious thoughts that threatened to overtake him and carry him out into a sea of defeat.
