Rainbow Blak discusses how she took the news of John Singleton Film Director and Screenwriter unexpected passing and why it affected her more deeply than you could imagine. John was more than just a film maker his films were bodies of work that triggered thinking and raised consciousness within Black people evoking a sense of curiosity and pride in embracing themselves and their original origins of birth thus connecting it with their current neighbourhoods and surroundings.
