Foothills patrol, SWAT, Sergeant and on through the ranks. I had a lot of respect for John over the years and understood that, even in the face of working for an elected official where politics can trump common sense, him and a few others remained authentic and true to the mission and oath we swore to. We had a great conversation and I'm looking forward to his return next month so we can hopefully wrap up his career.
