John Taylor Interview

Producer, Musician, Composer, Arranger, DJ, Manager, Remixing Guru & Dog Lover John Taylor from Punx Souncheck is welcomed into the studio in this very special instalment of The Dukey Radio Show. The pair discuss the artist's "Autobiographical Playlist", six songs that have helped shape Taylor's life, as well as a further half-dozen tunes that he's been directly involved with. From soliciting musical inspiration from crusty punks in the back streets of Aberdeen to discovering the exotic tribal beats of Bow Wow Wow in Cyprus - John Taylor's musical upbringing is engaging and amusing to hear about in equal measure. And his tales of musical collaborations with the likes of Steve Strange, Marc Almond, Dead or Alive, Martin Degville and Dave Barbarossa illustrate how our guest has taken his early influences and updated them with exciting modern twists.
