John the Baptist: Prepare the Way (Selected Scriptures)
from North Bryant Baptist Church Hosted by North Bryant
TO THE END OF THE EARTH: A Sermon Series Through the Book of Acts ––––––––––––– Jesus called them, taught them, and prepared them. But would the Apostles and the early church be able to continue the work without Him? The Book of Acts tells the story of how the Holy Spirit empowered the church to spread the gospel. Through His power and the faithful obedience of the people, Christianity exploded, spreading from Jerusalem to the end of the earth. Two thousand years later, the mission is still ours. We must continue to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world. Please join on this amazing and challenging journey! ––––––––––––– Message Focus: God uses humble people who point others away from themselves and toward Christ. Selected Scriptures Speaker: Matt Thornton, Pastor Date: September 7, 2026
