John Tookey: AUT construction professor on the Government's plan to roll back insulation standards

The Government has confirmed it plans to roll back insulation standards amid concern about cost blowouts for new builds. The current standards, introduced in May 2023, have been estimated to save homes over 40 percent on heating. AUT construction professor John Tookey is sceptical about this idea.
