Johnny Logan

He's the only artist in Eurovision history to win the contest three times — as a performer in 1980 and 1987, and as a songwriter in 1992. In this episode, Marcus sits down with the legendary Johnny Logan for a warm, open-hearted conversation that goes far beyond the trophies. Johnny talks candidly about his complicated relationship with one of his own hit songs — one he's never quite warmed to, despite its success. He also opens up about the competitive fire that never really faded: his repeated attempts to return to Eurovision over the years, chasing that stage one more time. And in a story many Swedish fans may not know, he reveals just how close he once came to competing in Melodifestivalen itself. Throughout the conversation, Johnny's warmth, humor, and honesty shine through, making this one of the most personal and heartfelt episodes yet — a rare chance to hear Mr. Eurovision reflect on a career unlike any other.
