With a mission of making life-changing, long-term differences in human health, their partnerships focus on: saving and improving the lives of women and children; preventing disease in vulnerable populations; and strengthening the healthcare workforce. As a result of Sharon's leadership, Johnson & Johnson was among the first private sector companies to make a commitment to the United Nations Secretary General's Every Woman Every Child campaign.Sharon is one of two Private Sector representatives on the Board of The World Health Organization's Partnership for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health. As a global health advocate, Sharon is a prolific blogger about issues that impact the survival, health and empowerment of girls and women. Her personal passion is to help ensure that their voices are heard.
