Join the Climate Movement with Li-Ya Mar, Ph.D

Li-Ya is a climate organizer, a yoga and meditation teacher, and works in higher education. She currently serves as the chair at the Climate Reality Project DFW Chapter. As a social science educator, Li-Ya is taking part in the climate movement by doing what she does best – coaching, training, organizing and engaging people, especially youth and college students. Her goal in climate advocacy is that we are always aware that every aspect of our society and our lives, including social justice, is interconnected with the health of the natural world and of our communities. Li-Ya is fighting for a better world to save all we can.
