Since then Jol has achieved so much by running a 4WD Training Business and training over 8,000 people, Awarded Gold Medal Status with C.A.M.S, Awarded Regional Territorian of the year. Joe was also instrumental in helping Lindsay Bookie with opening up the Hay River Track in the Simpson Desert for regular 4WD'ers. Also a founding member of the Alice Springs Off Road Racing Club and then a founding member of the Central Australian Drag Racing Association.
