Jon English interview 2002

Jon English was a towering professional in the Australian theatre and music world from his first national appearance as Judas in the 1972 production of Jesus Christ Superstar. I first met Jon when he was working on his musical Paris and he dropped in to the Triple J breakfast show a number of times. Always up for a laugh. I last spoke to him in 2002 when he was touring a revival of Pirates of Penzance, shortly before his press conference at the Civic Theatre, Newcastle.
