Jon Schneck, longtime guitarist for Relient K, checks in today to chat about the band's forthcoming tour which touches down at the TLA on South Street in Philadelphia March 21, 2022. Trent be part of the show regarding her new book Dishing Up Devotions--36 Faith-Building Activities for Homeschooling Families. Each chapter includes a Scripture passage, brief story/thoughts from everyday life, a prayer, an affirmation, family activity, and baking buddies section featuring delicious recipes such as "set apart peanut butter chocolate chip cookies," "mini lemon loaves," "humble crumble pie," and "upside down apple tart" (chapter 14 which revolves around God's faithfulness). The book is very flexible and can be used in a curriculum-like manner or simply as a reference/family one-off even for those who have no homeschooling background.
