Jon's bio: Jon Taffer (born November 7, 1954) is a bar consultant, television personality, and author, best known as host of the reality series Bar Rescue on Spike. Taffer graduated from William A. Shine Great Neck South High School in Great Neck, New York in 1972, and after a short time at the University of Denver studying political science he relocated to Los Angeles.
