Jonah #1 - Who is Jonah and Nineveh?

Jonah knew God’s mercy firsthand. Yet he fled when God sent him to preach repentance to Nineveh, Israel’s brutal enemy. His deepest fear was not danger, but that God might spare people he believed deserved punishment. God had already shown patience to rebellious Israel, and His compassion reaches even those who insult Him and hurt others.
