Jonah #5 - Jonah's Anger

Anger exposes what a person values most. Jonah resents God’s compassion for Nineveh because it costs him privilege and comfort, so he waits outside the city hoping for judgement. God gives shade through a vine, then removes it and contrasts Jonah’s concern for the plant with His concern for 120,000 people. God came in Jesus to bear the punishment intended for lost people.
