In 1996, Patsy Ramsey woke up the day after Christmas to see a ransom note at the bottom of her stairs asking for a large sum of money if they wanted to see their daughter alive. 7 hours later, Patsy’s husband, John, would find their 6-year-old daughter in their basement strangled to death. One certain police investigator blamed an intruder for the crime, but most other police officers and the general public would be suspicious of the ones closest to her.
