Jordan High Lockdown Ends Safely

Jordan High School in Durham went into lockdown Tuesday afternoon after rumors of a possible weapon on campus sent shockwaves through the school — but after a tense search involving deputies and news helicopters, authorities confirmed no weapons were found, ending the scare safely. This isn’t the first time the school has faced such an alert — a similar lockdown occurred in April without incident — and this time too, everyone walked away unharmed.
