Jorge Contreras - The Mindset that took me from Drug Dealing to Real Estate Deals

In this episode, I talk to Jorge Contreras who is a multifamily investor in 1200+ units and teaches people how to rent out Airbnb properties with no experience and money.  Jorge came from a background of drug dealing, gangs, and has seen his dad pass away from getting involved with the wrong kinds of activities. He did not want the repeat the same story as his dad so he began to separate himself from the wrong types of people who weren't being a positive influence to him and hung around with people who had a mentality to be better and achieve more with their life. Not everyone will want to rise up from their circumstances and be an example for others like Jorge was for his younger siblings and those in his community. But if you want a higher quality of life for yourself, you need to have the mindset to grow, surround yourself with people better and smarter than you, and continue to put in the work everyday to be a better version of yourself.
