Yeah, welcome to another episode of listening on risk. I'm Marcus your host and today our guest is your game you know last name needed we talk about his CSU application paper and life and future plans and also something a little a little fun paper that and a couple of his friends made it's really funny enjoy yes so we are here with Bikin biking Jorgen one of his papers CCU or CSU application and then something else that I love So something fun Whatever you want to make a bigger picture, okay, so I just go ahead and read yes, okay Yours father my ventures in the homeland have become quite interesting as of late for many things have transpired since my departure The great games of ping and pong have come to a high frequency of play as of late the turnies and spins of the paddle keep us in This among other things has greatly increased the Jubilee amongst our ranks Winter has been fell to us and our livestock has fallen victim to it However, we have much faith in our savior Donald Trump for gas prices on nearing an all-time low I miss you and your girthing shoulders. I will make it home soon and do time It was a combination of them something man, so so obviously the There's this quarterback in the NFL his name is Andrew Luck And so fans since he looks like a captain or a general of an army They make him send letters on Twitter So they send Twitter letters and post them as in he's sending it to his mother Yeah, and so that was the inspiration behind that, but I can't take credit for writing this it was actually My friend Zack who really wrote this out our buddy Harrison who's actually in the Marines right now at bootcamp We sent him this letter while he's at the Marines to inspire him Make him know that we that we we still care for him where we're waiting for him to come home But he was much longer and I made it I made it lower and Kind of took some words out and kind of made it more geared towards this This is like what are the greatest they do you have like so many puns in there keeping top shape That's awesome, so That's great Love it man. I love it.
So kind of a brief. This is my CSU application essay So I wrote this This is like the last two weeks when I applied I felt like I wasn't sure I was going to college this next semester And so then finally CSU came to mind and it just got made it evident that this is where I think I should go So hopefully bring I get accepted to it. This was my application letter to it It was a brisk no sorry and the story It was a cold risk fall day the leaves were just beginning to make their fall from the tips of the trees to the cold hard ground The one-screen plants were slowly beginning to fade almost as if life itself had become begun to slow down as this season of fall had now begun I threw my bag of equipment over my shoulder as I exited my car and turning I see one of my longtime friends doing the same We might eye contact and walk over to greet each other Excited we embraced each other and began to make our way down the sidewalk towards the school Making small talk as we went both of us were trying to hide that almost bitter feeling we had inside a Bit of feeling we knew would come but unfortunately came far too fast For today was our first day back at football practice for our senior year of high school It was a mixed feeling of happiness excitement excitement and sadness. We both knew this was the beginning of many lasts We made our way down to the weight room where we have spent countless hours grinding through coach dowdy's grueling workouts It was damp a little cold and smelled like hard work, but nonetheless we were both excited to be back in this place As I gathered with my fellow teammates and situated myself my eyes got the attention of three big old words written on the board They read trust team commitment.
I knew I was ready I drink some water to help hydrate me for the conditioning which I knew soon would come Everyone was joking around goofing off and having a good time We were all waiting waiting for our head coach to walk through those office doors and start our practice After much anticipation There he was the room went loud the room went from loud and noisy to sound in a matter of seconds Like the trees and plants being hit by the seasons that fall outside It was almost like life itself slow down for everyone inside his tall large powerful figure looked over around the room and said You all ready to which the response was I sir Have begun We all gathered and took a seat in the film room ready to get things going coach Wildin stood at the front and began to speak Look little did I know this short walk short talk will change my perspective on life forever I took a quick glance around the room and took one last scope of my water He began it was all fairly typical from what he used to talk about in the past until he did something different Something he usually doesn't do his face got more serious and so does his voice his eyes seem to have a twinkle and he said this What I'm about to tell you change my life and I truly hope it changes yours. I felt like he was talking to just me He said the moment you put others before yourself is the moment your life changes forever as I sat there with wide eyes Staring at my blank notebook and I clicked I pondered something that would soon change my perspective on life forever Ever since that day I don't see people the same way. I put people before myself I try to see the best of people even when they run me. I have a deeper care for the individuals in my life Most of all I found purpose in which I never had before looking back to that day I'm forever grateful for those words spoken by my coach on that brisk cold fall day Like then when summer passed into fall and the rich green life had slowly begun denied I knew life was starting to brew inside me in my soul.
I'm not a perfect person nor will I ever be? But I want to make a difference a life growing difference in community and in all aspects of life Yeah, so I wanted to be more than raw. I know yeah, this is a yeah that last part right there Where I say I'm not a perfect person nor will I ever be I went to the main difference or I Actually wrote that a couple years ago when I got baptized really my church Yeah, I'm not sure if we give like a little speech on like how we got saved and stuff And so I I wrote that and I that's the speech I gave and so then I incorporated into this which I thought was pretty cool I liked it. That's awesome.
Do you like like writing? I'm honestly not that good of a writer I really try on this paper because I really want to go to see us you but I don't necessarily Think getting into get into it would be cool. I'm new journal every year or so often like if I use a journal every day Like write down what I did that day and like specific sense to time consuming I got a little life. So maybe I should keep doing that I think that would be that be huge to be you look back on life and be like wow one amazing thing right?
No, yeah, I got something yet that I've always been told is that if you journal like every day you Yeah, I just get that house, but I've only recently started like I never did it when I was in high school Oh really? Well, I did I have like three specific journals and they all have like I don't know too much about the other ones. I'm the resident of the book. So it's just but I got like the thing called the five minutes.
It works out well for me But because it's very like it's very tiny. It just like has like I was like, oh, it's like the five minute journal. Yeah, and it's so they ask you like three things like Yeah, you just get to one day. It's like one Three things that you're grateful for at the end of the day and then like what makes day great So can kind of like plan your day which I was like I'm daily affirmation and then at the end you write Oh, a lot of times get but I write it in the morning But like what was amazing about today and how can you make it better?
So but this I really like and I got on this because I've Listening to well actually I read the book here morning, which is just like a morning routine thing which and he recommended this and so Dude, that's cool. I'm actually And then what was I want to talk about this more I got a couple of things but then the I was kind of curious on because I know You play football for a while so I'm kind of curious on the positions you play. Okay. Yeah, so I play in high school I play I play mostly D line and O line and so since CCA being a smaller school I was forced to play the bigger man positions and not and I'm not necessarily a big guy But on my football team I was one of the bigger guys on it I was one of the biggest and strongest guys on the team but considering like my actual size compared to most schools I was fairly average but because of that forced me to play the bigger position so offense my senior year I played snapper and then Defense I played mostly D-End and I played I know I mostly play D tackle and a little bit of the end depending on the game the game plan But yeah, which did you like there?
Definitely defense. Yeah, yeah, yeah As much as I love snapping the ball. It's a lot of it was good It was I mean a lot of responsibility because if I mess up the snap the whole place dead Yes, and she and I loved helping on my team that way, but it was Definitely defense was definitely People and tackle people like that's what that's about me. You get a sack or something the whole crowd knows what I have all 20 people at the stage Play offense and all of it, but it's so technical.
Yeah, it's so technical and defense is more on the field and you're watching it It's a lot more improvisation. I love and I don't know. I'm weird I don't know if you like this way, but I love actually getting hit. Oh, yeah, so I didn't mind it I know it's a weavers man.
I was like dying too. Yeah, that's hilarious No, he was like he was like you're like a train. He's like, yeah, it's fun getting hit by your Special team stuff we would do practices and I would purposely try to hit the lowerclassmen and not the lowerclassmen But the people that were on scout team as hard as I could Or not because I would play special teams, but I would play scout and so when I was on the scout team I would try to hit them as hard as I could to give him the best look they could I remember one time Johnny was in the wrong Place the wrong time. I think me and another dude plodding or something Yes, yes, thank you I love that.
I always love watching John to play because there's no middle ground with Johnny There's either he's like very relaxed or very chill or he's insanely go out. Yeah monster That guy's a that guy impressed me his beast. He could hit too. Yeah, I look I could hit yeah That's a little more than we ever actually talked to him.
It's about how God like how hard he hit Yeah, I mean I never played carry the ball so I wouldn't know But I remember when he'd be on scout and I'd be on the D starting out or starting the end we would do drills We'd hit he was probably that you definitely with the toughest competition I saw the guys I was going against yeah, I pretty confused really good at giving low John That's like apparently John because he was on he was on the line I don't remember if he was on the line on off his and he was going to a lot of his teammates and so he usually Go up against for some reason he was always going up against him dude. That was like 300 pounds. Yeah Johnny he would always push him back which was awesome So and then so you so when you did like special teams in practice Like where you guys do kickoffs is that we were talking about you guys would hit yeah where they would practice We were they would practice kickoffs or kick returns and so you need a scout team Which would be guys that weren't starting so I started out Offence and defense and so coach pulled me out of the special teams because it would give me a break at the games And so doing practices though. I would be on the special teams on the scout team Which is the practice team okay just so they have a look so they can practice against somebody okay So I go against the starters for that okay, and then you guys have enough players my football team was weird because we have like a players We played every position.
Oh, yeah, yeah, you did. That's a lot of my teammates did not they were In here, but yeah, I guess you get the most out of it. Yeah, and I just I don't know But they and I just you come home and you're dead But yeah, so it's just yeah the best is I love the part of our football. Yeah, I'm gonna ask you a couple questions about paper You know like I love the part about football where it's the harder you hit the better you are at the game Like so there's nobody faking it which I love there's no other sport that I've played that's like that Yeah, it's all their sports.
It's very it's very calculating and how you you want to like your soccer really like how you kick it And then you can't see there's a bunch of these rules basketball. It's a lot more improvisation I mean there is like a youth like that. Yeah, so you know They do have like they have to forget is it called the middle or the center who kind of like the orientates everybody He takes the ball down after probably on the other side of my car. Yeah, yeah Yeah, you get But yeah, yes, but football it's just nobody's It's more of a hit and just kind of I don't know dumb guy sport I don't know how to put it that way, but yeah, no, there's there's there's the mind and the brain behind football Like the guys in the NFL this in the smartest dudes in the world like they're really smart You gotta there is a mine part to football But I agree if you if you're just dumb and you just want to hit like that's a sport for you.
No, yeah It's awesome like yeah, what you're saying because if you're like anybody that has to do with the ball Which is technically everybody yeah, but yeah, and Even if you're on defense, it's about reading the field like it's insane how much like from playing high school It's insane watching NFL. Yeah, it's the level you're like it's insane what they can do it's crazy in there They're phenomenal. I don't yeah, I'm like and I I'm like I don't even know what it'd be like to go up against someone that good I mean you're you're really good. No, no You guys as far as I know not one eight level it was yeah, not bad, but if it was at other schools I'd be more than average.
I'd say really I think so. Yeah, okay. Maybe I know I'll trust you Yeah, but no, that's awesome and then I mean they come back to the paper, but yeah, and then you're going to currently going to college Sir, and then what are you studying? I'm studying business management and business marketing And then the question I got to you I'm gonna try to find the part where I wanted to And then then you kind of have an ad job, but you still have that job where you're like helping with the like media for Military yes, yes, I'm still doing that work.
We're doing so do social media management marketing for a company called give which we work with a We work with military people So when a military personnel goes on deployment to Afghanistan I ran or go away to wherever it is their car with just sitting in a dirt parking lot or their garage or at the base for a certain amount of time And so just to appreciate and value and so what we do is we provide a service that is able for them to Rent their car out to people to the American public and then they get paid around five to six hundred dollars a month depending on their car Type and so I run the social media stuff for them. I do Facebook management running ads YouTube ads Man bunch of other stuff. I bought merchandise stuff last week He makes me do random little things like if we're like last week for example when you say I want to make some hats So I like my normal calm and made the hat put all the logo in and bottom and then ships I do like little things like that for him like it's assistant and also mostly the social media stuff It's really fun. I like the job and I'm thinking about starting my own company in the future.
I'm doing that type of stuff That's like and you kind of have the background. Well, I mean I'm getting the kind of getting experience now, but yeah, it's fun It's awesome. So you you made like YouTube video sperm. So you like actually do you like it good So we make we've made commercials in the past and so then I'm in charge of taking those commercials and then broadcasting them to people So if I want I gotta make sure I can't let like if you would see this video It would mean nothing to you because you're not a military, but you might be I don't know if you're gonna plan on going That's right.
Yeah, that's it So I got to figure out I got to use like Google Analytics and Google Ads to figure out how to market to those people Like the simple version is how do I find the right people and so that they can see that video or see that? That I'm not just paying money so that I'm random person that's not the military sees a video I want people to actually see the video that need it and then they can take advantage of our So yeah, this is a really good deal. No strings attached like straight up They get paid a couple five six hundred dollars a month. That's awesome.
Yeah, it's like it's literally a car It's literally your car payment. No, that's like that's yeah, that's benefit and benefit on both sides It seems like or no we do it. It's a it's a nonprofit or it is a profit. Oh, okay No, that's sick.
So they we give him service. We give him 50% Okay, no, yeah, that's awesome So it's like an actual business for like the general public also, but for the military Yes, they get 50% they get 50% of the profits that they make from their car and so the other 50% goes into maintenance for the car Okay, so you get to take care of it. So take care of it What do you mean? Well changes if it needs new tires if it needs a new key if it needs anything if anything goes wrong We'll take care of it even it's like a head gasket or something transmission like that.
Well, we'll pay for it We'll take care of it. It's like our way of giving back So yes, it's a profit But our big part of us is our hashtag kind of thing is we hashtag we give back and so we're not all about the money We're not all about the profits We want to give back to the people that are protecting us in Protecting us as civilians protecting our freedom because freedom isn't free. No, that's awesome. Yeah, cuz that's not that's way more That's cheaper than you have like insurance do it every time because that's what you have to do when you rent just a normal car Yeah, you have to get Yeah, you know, like what is it called?
I have it on my car for coverage. You have to get full coverage But but that's sick. Okay, and then with this what I was gonna ask you about well, it's more about with your paper Okay, where you say um Change your life forever where he says It's when you What am I about to tell you the moment you put others before yourself is the moment your life to just forever and I've always You're like a strangely earnest person I mean, I know people are in this but it's it's I don't know you know, you're like you're very sincere Okay, like when you talk to people and it's it's kind of it catches like if you watch when people talk to you catches them off guard It's got me off guard when I first met you. Oh, yeah I didn't know really know how to because I really met I met people like there's people better sincere And so but you're like very intentional and just how you like pay attention to people and stuff and I've always appreciated that Thanks, man.
Yeah, and I know other people do too and so I just want to say thank you for that and I am in that's yeah Definitely I've seen but that's cool is where just to see that like where you got something and that's something also about football Like I've I learned so much about but it's not just well even though it's not amazing sport and so much fun Yeah, it's like you were in so much wrong. It just from like the team aspect for football that I thought that's always been cool And yeah, this is a sick paper because I thought I thought when I read it I thought you're like Super good at writing you know like Johnny is really good at writing and this is really good. I mean I don't know Right And then so your plan is to go to And then are you going to get or because you're gonna get your associates in front range? Yes, sir And then are you going for your bachelor's at CSU my bachelor's at CSU so I I Graduate from if I end up getting a CSU this year I'm a little late on the application because you know But if I get in there I should graduate with my bachelor's in business in either year and a half or two years Depending on depending on if I can if these some of my classes can transfer over or not But then I'm gonna I'm actually gonna try to play football for them Oh, really?
It's a big it's a big shot, but me and my brother are going in same year We're gonna try out for the football team. We're gonna tell the coach. Hey, we really want to try out We want to work on we're probably not gonna make it But what can we do this year to work our work our asses off that we can make it next year? And so this next year this summer and this next year I'm gonna try to meet with the coach in the next couple weeks and so then just work our butts off in the next year and a half And so then 2020 we just play for them as we meet my brother going together Which would be really fun that'd be it's kind of the goal here, but oh over the paper though I appreciate your compliment by the way means a lot means a lot.
I don't I can't credit myself that at all That's totally God. I don't even notice that I do it. So I mean, thank you, but you and your brother holds your brother 18 18 yeah, okay, so he's 13 months under me so we're really close wow How many people do you have in your family? So I have seven and then I would like an older adopted sister that she moved in with us when she was 16 And so she's been kind of like my sister but for younger siblings I'm the oldest and then the older adopted sister and my two parents.
Okay cool. Yeah, I always wondered I mean, I've only really met you right right right right yeah, that's cool So he's is he like if he played for a CC also? He actually went to the academy He wanted to make his own his own name for himself and you're not being known as your guns brother Went to the academy and now he's known as Grady and now I'm known as Grady's brother What? He plays football too.
He's good this year. He got offensive MVP He set school records for most receiving yards in a season he got all conference first team and then all state first team and Think that's it maybe one more where I can't remember wait, so we do you mean he's a receiver? Yeah, receiver receiver slash quarterback position. Yeah, he's doing good.
He's doing really good. He really good with this year That's awesome, and then I was always kind of curious for you because yeah You you're always working different jobs. Yeah, I was ready. You don't mind like okay Yeah, but um how many jobs like have you had in what's all the jobs?
Oh Boy, that's a good question. My first official job was a caddy at Common Ground Golf Course So I'd carry their bags and stuff like that with my best friend Zack and then we would we'd hang out That was a fun job. It really sucked though like they're doing it but being on the golf course was fun after that I moved to subway and That was great because I loved subway sandwiches and then after subway I worked there for a year I think I took off I did like little like landscaping jobs with one of our family friends Dave Doyle And I was like on and off and then I worked at TrueFit which is a gym I guess I don't know how to fit by Highland Hills and I still work there technically I work for cutting-edge pros which is a landscaping company started by my buddy and then Obviously give you have vehicle exchange and then what else did I do? Did what did you say like you were working on like car detail, right?
Oh, yeah I did some car car inside car interior repair with the guy for a little bit It wasn't wasn't very long And I never typically got paid for the work You were just buying a luncheon because he was training me for a couple weeks And so that only lasted a couple it was like a month or two maybe two or three months and I never actually got paid It was just like one day a week Oh really? Yeah, and then he ended up like not wanting to start add more people on and I was like Well, I'm gonna go work for cutting edge because I don't make more money anyway But yeah, he's a cool guy maybe in the future because he wants to get things started up again He talked to me But we'll see so yeah about seven or eight jobs in the last since I school started So I'm right which is I guess a lot Yeah, that's a lot Now you worked at Waterworld and you worked at it I worked at my brother Lamey and then I worked at the theater I had and I worked up in the mountains fun and then Something else That's six. That's still a lot Yeah, yeah, yeah Lots of jobs Very educated workplace. I don't know that wouldn't want to hire us Right we got experience.
That's right. We got experience This is all been kind of uh I would like to be able to do this Like I wanted to like eventually get this to like I want to my goal is to get like a passive income So wait, but for forecasting and a bunch of yeah other stuff I'm working on but it's cool man Yeah, but that's the kind of the goal with this but I honestly and I honestly just enjoy it I think it's kind of cool, but I don't know if I want to see if this idea is actually anything And so like I was like talking to students because I know what we students they have papers But yeah, the majority of what it just goes to is turning into the teacher. Yeah, I mean you get you do get skills from doing that Yeah, that's true, but it's it just kind of seems like it just It's shared with the world. Yeah share it with the world.
Yeah, she wrote with the world Nothing wrote it tonight before It's through much of crafting there. Yeah, a lot of people they can get A's from that they can't know and they do that's the problem with our college Just crazy. No, yeah, and I mean they do get some of your favorite like well Anyways, I'm not gonna call people but you know, they can in some of them they do it and they do it well So I think and a lot of people have I think really good papers like this and I think it's just I don't know That's the kind of goal here. That's cool.
So what gave you the idea to start this? Well, I was like talking about earlier and he was like because I was like I want to go into radio Which I don't know if I still want to do that I like I really like radio what I like most of those like talking part of the talk show stuff right about video And that's basically what it is essentially Basically on radio right now, except we have no listeners right now Exactly, but yeah, so it's and he was just like because with his job He's like what my they didn't really necessarily book ads like that all he could do all these different things that he did with his degree It was what experience you got in this exact field huh? And so what he got in the job is he said like all the projects on the side that he had the experience in yeah It wasn't necessary and he was just encouraged me. He's like just get experience.
That's what people look for. It's not necessarily a degree or certification It's the experience to know that you have knowledge that you're able to capable of doing it. Yeah, that's here's my idea I think that's great. You're doing this.
I mean you texted me. I got a new phone sighting of your number and I was like why is there a dude texting You got 1230 in the morning I only do five times before So there's an area so yeah, yeah, I think it's great. Keep doing it. Yeah, if you need more people let me know too Yes, I definitely I have a couple people in mind I want to get more right there because I've only done one other person outside of her family hunter Which oh really?
Yeah, so the hunter was here. Oh nice. I think it's about a month Well, I think it's a bit of a month more than what I got like so I want to get I got a couple people I want contacts Let's see and then I was kind of curious so the guy he wants to like the detail dude So it was just kind of like a slack business. It's his full-time business So he works on that full-time Oh, okay And he wanted to bring in another dude with another truck and then I get 75% the income he gets 25% has I do all the jobs and I progress and I'm up It's he makes a pretty good living and I mean he's a single dude and he doesn't have like he does I got an older older car so he doesn't live above his means but you know makes good money So he wanted to bring me on and then he would make a little bit of money But we'll see what happens.
I think I'm gonna stick with cutting edge this year because I'm a manager in the company and this year we have I have like four guys under four guys under me Wow, and so then it's more experience and like you said earlier experience like if I can get this experience I can translate this into a different job and then I can become a president or CEO of a company one day because I had This experience working at this little long company with my four guys that you know four guys And then four guys will turn in eight guys and those eight guys will turn 16 guys and boom all of a sudden you have a big company How many guys is the company? Oh, man on the entire staff. I think we have 15 people whoa So that's from like office ladies to second secretaries and then the two owners and then we have two teams of four So you have about 14 or 15 people Wow, okay So then do you guys do four guys in each crew or is it crew for landscaping? Oh, okay, and for mowing its to We have a number four and honestly the efficiency level is just not there like it's you think you would make it go faster But it's you know the same amount of time to do the same.
Yeah, it's not long enough of a job that more guys would make it slower I mean you would know you're in the long-care industry as well Yeah, you just because you got one or in the back or in the same time Yeah, that's and the only thing I think it would like edging and loan that's about it Yeah, that's pretty much it. I mean you got a blow the customer Oh Marcus you're hilarious But yeah, so you would want to like do your own business with like renting out cars Not renting out cars, but I would want to start a couple start of business in the future be more of a Probably not cars not landscaping But it would definitely be on the longs of lines of like an invention Something that this world needs that I could contribute to I value to the world in some way and that would be what I would try to sell So I mean I got young so you 19 or 20 So I'm 19. We're about the same age and we got a lot of life to live in a lot of life to live That's awesome. I think it's great stuff lands and I don't know I've I Yeah Because I think what's great about Just make stuff work better is if you actually I found I'm not gonna say cuz I'm like you said I mean I can be like I know this I'm never gonna be a hundred percent on anything because Yeah, exactly someone all these again.
Yeah, I think it's great to go after something that you just like your plan And that your passion about and I think if you own your own business Yeah, you work. I don't know. It's not that you work harder on it. It's that just maybe care more.
I don't know It's yeah, it's harder to own a business than it is to work for somebody I hate working for people So yeah, I like the option right now That's why I like you reads because I don't have a boss. Oh, you're over eats nice dude. That's a killer job You ain't good my brother works for your competition. It's a call in addition.
Yeah, you have it. Yeah, you have any as you want There's like also a car which is like you go into groceries I got this stuff. I just haven't gone out and done it. I want to try to do it like fight different times and there's Technically considered a contractor But that's cool he works with our desk.
You like it he likes it. Yeah, okay. Yeah, he loves it actually Yeah, I'm just sorry. No, no, no He's trying to get me to do it I might actually end up doing it here for the next couple weeks So I can just make a little cash before that mowing season starts But yeah, he likes it Just like your I always because some people has asked me this on a couple interviews and I'm people personally asking this I always think it's an interesting question of like your five-year plan.
Oh steep dude, I want to hear your five plan your five your plan too as well, but for me Where do I see myself in five years? I see myself hopefully married I see myself in many couple companies having at least I'll be what 24 I'll want to have at least four or five probably four I want to have seven income streams by the time I'm 30 so by 24. I want to have maybe two two or three and Married maybe a kid But within those five years next year I want to go to CSU year after that finish my bachelor's play football for CSU The year after that work really hard Probably get married that year if I can make a lot of money save save save by house and Kind of see wherever God calls me I'm obviously my five-year plan is gonna be much different from what God has planned for me and I'm gonna I'm gonna look back five years from now and be like well, I would totally wrong But that's kind of how I see the next five years. Who knows.
What about you? So me I want to have a passive income Money coming in but I'm not actually from like previous work and there's some stuff you can do with websites and stuff I'm working towards and so and then I can just focus on the stuff. I really enjoy like skateboarding drawing and I got a lot of obvious like acting and stuff that I'm pursuing now but I'd like to put like because you have to put so much time into them to actually get decent at them and You can put a lot of time into them when you're doing other stuff and you have to pay your bills and stuff and but it's I could just like Slowly focus on those things. Yeah, you could go so much faster.
You can get so much better Yeah, and so I would love to have the past income to do that just like do that full time while my money's coming in to pay for bills and stuff And then eventually I mean if you get good enough at your sugar hobbies eventually they can start paying you can get enough where you can actually Yeah, yeah, yeah, you didn't come from those so that's what I want to do and I want to travel at least half of the states Well, yeah, at least half of the states in five years cool Is I want to travel and I just I can do that that's something I've done actually with the reads I've actually gone to a different state and I was over there for a while. Oh, that's cool Yeah, yeah, I would love to like yeah be able to like go up and do that too because I love snowboarding and stuff And beyond yes, he's out for just to be able to live in the mountains. That's what that's yeah That's just a life goal is the land There you go Yeah That's cool, man You can incorporate all your your hobbies into what you want to do too because with your if you want to do website design or even You're drawing you can create content you can share that on social media platforms. You can share that on any anything that's computerized You can take those hobbies and transfer them in terms of skills that you can make money off of using your hobbies Yes, and that's what I would love that to you Yeah, be able to just like yeah cuz there's obviously that and if you could sell it is obviously one But you have to mean saying to get to that right and so then that's just also just putting a lot of time into it and learning it Right.
Exactly. So I oh yeah, I agree. I'd love to Get to where it actually is It would be awesome and then you live off of that which is great And I'm one of the most creative dudes I know great drawing because you're like you're very creative He's got that mind He wasted he just doesn't want to do it or one of the most creative people I've ever met in my life If you would use these skills that God's giving you you could really do good for yourself No, and he's like I don't really want to why You have really everything in front of you if you don't yeah It's if you have the skills and you like it. It's it's nice to do it, but it's not always enjoyable That's true.
Do it and you have to be able to be consistent For if you had anybody who's had like an artist they have thousands of pump thousands of paintings and drawings probably Way more than that than you've ever seen because of like when they grew up drawing and stuff And you probably won't ever see that stuff, but they already yeah, so and I for me It's not always like super fun I like it and I would like to do it because I enjoy it But it's not something that you can just do because you enjoy yeah There's some people that are skilled enough That they I don't know I still I still haven't think I've seen anybody that's just enjoyed it because even like if you go back to Michelangelo or any of them they worked in same hard and with Caprio is one of those famous painters like he drew a napkin. He's had a cafe Da Vinci da Vinci so you for the like you like drawing napkin and he was like I will pay you like so much for that and He's like will be $20,000 and back then that was like that was tons I was like I don't know hundreds of thousands of millions back then and she was like it just took you like two minutes He's like no it took me 60 years to do that Mm-hmm and she was gonna and that's how honestly how he would like pay a lot of his bills You're just like I'll go around and you'd like draw and you like give him that for like goods and stuff What yeah, wow that's really cool. Yeah, yeah, you have to say 60 years to affect your craft Yeah, nothing in life anything that comes easy in life is not worth it. I work for those things that are tough You don't earn it.
I don't know if it's really if you get all that it's out of it. Yeah, so Grind man. I grind and work. No He picks up stuff so fast.
Yeah, like this cool. He like I don't know He has such an interesting way just how he goes and stuff like because it takes me It just takes me tons of time to learn anything. Yeah, that's all it's always been But Johnny you can just I don't know he can think of it like a mechanical way little brother Yeah, I understand my brother my brother when I juggled yesterday in an hour like literally the day He's you went from not being able to juggle came to joke. So I'm the same way as you I can't I can't like learn something like no time It's gotta like I work at yeah, we're at it.
We're at a disadvantage Crying it's a crime It's okay, but I just it's just how it's always been I have to feel a ton of times before I get it I don't know why I that's how it's gonna snowboarding too like I didn't like I thought I was regular which is going down left I'm forward and I snowboarded that way for like two years and I always just going like he was afraid to tell But then I realized I was goofy and That took me a lot doctor Larry, but it actually it went faster than like constantly down I'll see people and be like maybe like a first day in the conveyor they can do the S Yeah, I was like how do you do that and I could never get it because I was writing switch the entire time So now you have it now. Yeah, yeah, it took me a while, but then I got it and then yeah now I can write switch Pretty good. I can't write as good as I can write goofy, but yeah Yeah, what's good is goofy right foot forward? Yeah, I'm goofy too.
Yeah That's right. I don't really snowboard whenever I skateboard or longboard. I'm always always right before I can't Actually most people are actually left forward right but really it's your dominant foot, but it's it's a lot of people They aren't left footed. Hmm.
So but they like more than half my family they ski or no They don't see they snowboard. I'm not just my older so they but they snowboard regular, but they're all right foot dominant Like they kick with the right foot. They're weird. They're right-handed in anyways.
Oh, like I don't know So it's a lot of people are regular and that's how it is with skateboarding and stuff It's weird like you can you can like kick a ball with your right foot and anything else you would do with your right foot But for some reason with that a lot of most people are regular It doesn't matter if they're left Huh? Yeah, if they're left foot dominant or not and it's like they have like tests and stuff where you do or you like stand up And then you don't tell them what you're gonna do and push them whichever foot they go first That's their that's what the one they were like skate on or snowboard or on So but it's I don't know I like it just because I've Done a lot of time and stuff and so just yeah, it's interesting. It really is the way that God works those things Wow, how do you not? If somebody is right-handed, why do they go with your left foot forward?
Why the opposite doesn't make sense to me? No, yeah, I don't get it. I don't understand how my siblings do it. Yeah.
