Nuestro invitado de la semana en Mi Cinema Paradiso es Josep Maria Contel, periodista, fotógrafo e historiador, figura clave en la memoria cultural y cinematográfica de Barcelona, especialmente del barrio de Gràcia. Su trayectoria está muy ligada al cine y a la documentación visual de la ciudad. En 1981, mientras estudiaba en la Escola de Mitjans Audiovisuals de Barcelona, retrató el rodaje de La plaça del Diamant (Francesc Betriu). En 2001 documentó Elembrujo de Shanghái, de Fernando Trueba.   Contel ha escrito la primera parte del libro Cines Verdi 100 que conmemora el centenario de los Cines Verdi de Barcelona, a la vez que coordina una exposición fotográfica sobre los Verdi y su público, en la Biblioteca Jaume Fuster del 27 de abril al 31 de mayo.   En este episodio nos habla de cinco películas que le han marcado: Doctor Terror, El amor del capitán Brando, La matanza de Texas, La escopeta nacional y Las bicicletas son para el verano.   Recuerda que puedes disfrutar del mejor cine en acontra+.
