Joseph #6 - The Provision

A severe famine threatens Jacob’s whole family, and moving to Egypt raises fears about whether God’s promises can survive. God meets the anxious old man at Beersheba, promises to go with him, and brings his family to food, land, and reunion through Joseph. The seventy relatives entering Egypt signal that God is building the nation promised to Abraham. Joseph’s provision points to Jesus, who gives life to people unable to rescue themselves.
