Joseph: A Man Directed by God's Messengers (Matthew 1:18-25: 2:13-15, 19-23)

Obedience is often hard for us as humans. We like the freedom to choose our lives and paths, but that isn't what God wants. Joseph was very obedient to God's Will, even though it caused him to go against the traditional ways of his people. Before God sent an angel to talk to him, Joseph was planning to dismiss Mary as his future wife. In what way was he protecting Mary? How does he react to the angel's commands from God?
