Joseph Forgives and Saves
from The Bilingual Bible Study Hosted by Marjorie Serrano
After seven years of plenty, the world has been devastated by a severe famine. Joseph, now the ruler of Egypt, oversees the crops, food reserves, and supply. When Joseph's family faces starvation, his father, Jacob, sends his sons to Egypt for food. Joseph sells food to his brothers, who do not recognize him. Years later, they return for more food, and this time, Joseph reveals the truth: "I am your brother!" he says. What happens next is a powerful display of God's love, forgiveness, and grace.
