And his genealogical history is outlined to indicate his material prosperity and greatness. But there is an even greater spiritual significance of these things, showing how that the world experiences prosperity when God’s people learn to patiently wait on Him. In chapter 37 the narrative moved back to Jacob, focussing on his son Joseph. Joseph was the favored son of Jacob who was envied by his brothers and sold into slavery. However, God is sovereignly behind the scenes, working in all of these events in order to preserve Israel.00:00 - Review02:38 - Joseph’s multi-colored coat16:24 - Joseph’s dreams26:05 - Joseph is sent to check on his brothers31:47 - Joseph’s brothers plot to kill him38:11 - Judah proposes to sell Joseph as a slave42:33 - Jacob mourns the report of Joseph’s deathAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
