Josh Band - Entrepreneur, Founder of Plate Crate - 157

from Patrick Jones Baseball

Every once in a while I like to change it up and do a different type of episode. Normally we talk a lot about player development and go over mechanics, workouts, recruiting, and I just wanted to change it up this week. So I decided to bring on someone who started as a baseball player playing Independent Baseball and making $600 a month to a founder of a company that sells awesome baseball gear.  Josh Band, wanted to make some money on the side. He thought of different ideas and being that he was still playing and couldn’t physically be some place to work, he decided to start a monthly membership box geared towards baseball supplies. Through word of mouth and social media, Josh was able to get thousands of people to sign up for his membership box, Plate Crate. This is the journey of an entrepreneur who used his baseball platform to make his living online. If you are interested in sponsoring an episode please email me @[email protected].
