Josh Barr Commits to Syracuse

Syracuse locks down big 2027 commitment from Josh Barr, a 6’3”, 195-pound wide receiver who chose the Orange over Arkansas, Buffalo, and Rhode Island after an official visit. Barr joins defensive back Matthew Schlenhardt as the second pledge for the class, which is currently ranked 43rd nationally. Despite not being rated by major services and a shortened 2023 season due to injury, Syracuse saw enough potential to make him a priority. With 18 commitments already secured for 2027—including 8 in June—the Orange are on a recruiting tear, building momentum for the future.
