Josh Fuhrer - From starting an IT Company to Flying Jets in 3 years. Josh graduated HS and made the choice to walk away from a business in IT and pursue his dream of flying. When he got the chance he dropped everything. The summer after he graduated HS he drove 3 states away to take a 2-week private pilot course. Most people take more than a year to get a license. He did it in 2 weeks. Then he drove through multiple more states to start his commercial pilot training. By the time he was 21 he was flying regional jets for an airline. During the pandemic he took a huge pay cut to keep flying cargo. That set him up to fly the Airbus 320 & 321 for another major airline. In his free time, he got a bachelor’s degree and took over as Chief Pilot for a local flight school. He even taught me to fly through the clouds (IFR rating.) The next time you are traveling and see your pilot is only 24 years old it may be Josh!
