Joshua L. (“Josh”) Baker is a seasoned litigator with experience in both the criminal and civil realms of the law. As a former prosecutor who specialized in DUI and traffic criminal matters, he established his knowledge of the intricacies of courtroom advocacy and the needs of those affected by wrongdoing. After leaving criminal prosecution, Josh practiced civil defense where he learned the inner workings of insurance companies and their tactics in attempting to resolve cases for as little as possible. Called to return to help those in need, he joined Sanders.Law to represent individuals facing the most difficult times of their lives. Utilizing his skills in advocacy, coupled with his knowledge of civil defense, he now zealously fights for the best outcome for his clients. Born and raised in the Kansas City metropolitan area, Josh spent his early years developing his skills in advocacy by participating in speech and debate programs in high school. Following his graduation from the University of Missouri – Kansas City with his degree in English, he was a high school speech and debate teacher and head coach. Following two years of teaching, he pursued his lifelong dream of becoming a lawyer and, in 2019, graduated from the University of Missouri – Kansas City with his degree in law.
