Joshua Bible Study - Chapters 16-18: Allotment of Land and Seeking God’s Guidance

This morning, we continue our journey through the book of Joshua, exploring chapters 16-18. These chapters focus on the allotment of land to the tribes of Joseph, Benjamin, and others, as well as the process of distributing the remaining territories. Through these passages, we see God’s guidance in fulfilling His promises and the importance of seeking His direction in every step of our journey. We’ll unpack key themes such as the boundaries for the tribes, the significance of communal unity in claiming their inheritance, and the example of faith-driven leadership in Joshua. Each passage underscores the necessity of aligning with God’s plan and trusting Him in the allocation of resources and opportunities. Together, we’ll reflect on: The allotment for Ephraim and Manasseh: Demonstrating God’s faithfulness to the descendants of Joseph and their unique challenges in settling the land (Joshua 16:1-10, 17:1-18).
