Joshua Tyson Eyes Ohio State | Ohio State Buckeyes Basketball News

Joshua Tyson, the elite 2027 point guard ranked 41st nationally and 11th among PGs, just wrapped up an official visit to Ohio State — a program hungry for top-tier talent in his class. Already a standout at Lakota West and set to transfer to La Lumiere for his senior year, Tyson’s game is elite: averaging over 14 points and 4 assists on the AAU circuit with elite shooting efficiency, and even earning a spot at USA Basketball U18 training camp. With visits looming at Virginia Tech, Cincinnati, and Michigan State, and Clemson possibly fading, Ohio State is in prime position to land a generational recruit — especially as they scramble to fill their 2027 class after losing a reclassified commit. Tyson’s pedigree includes All-Ohio honors and Mr. Basketball finalist status, making him not just a prospect, but a future cornerstone.
