JOSHUA'S STORY | FROM REJECTION TO ACCEPTANCE Through the Indwelling Spirit and Guidance of IOM America.   My name is Joshua, and here is my Exchanged Life story. From a very young age, I was acutely aware that I was different. The rejection I faced in my childhood was relentless and soul-crushing. At school, I was often the target of cruel teasing and isolation. My peers saw me as an outsider, someone who didn’t belong. The emotional scars ran deep and followed me into my adolescence. I spent countless nights questioning my worth and place in this world, grappling with feelings of abandonment and loneliness.   Despite the turmoil, there was always a glimmer of hope within me, a faint whisper that there was more to life than the pain I was experiencing.
