Joson Sanon’s WVU Rise | West Virginia Mountaineers Basketball News

West Virginia’s 2026-27 roster is heating up with a breakout transfer: Joson Sanon, the 6’5”, 200-pound guard who once looked like an NBA prospect at Arizona State before a rocky stint at St. John’s. Now in Morgantown, he’s primed for a starring role alongside freshman Miles Sadler and Finley Bizjack, aiming to resurrect his scoring game with a Devin Booker-inspired style. Sanon’s goal? March Madness glory. With three years left under NCAA rules and a strong season potentially opening NBA draft doors, he’s betting West Virginia is the perfect place to become the best version of himself.
