An omer or ‘sheaf’ can spiritually represent a person or group of people The journey from leaving Egypt (a type of the world and world system) consists of a time of preparation (counting the omer) to meet with the God of Israel at Mount Sinai. The spiritual journey consists of: *Becoming humble (barley beaten) *Judgment, trials, purification (parched in fire) *Removing unsound doctrine (tossed in the wind) *Refinement and living a righteous life (fine flour) *Living in unity with other brethren (13 sieves) In this segment we also learn what IS the Torah? We also learn that it was Yeshua who gave us the Torah at Mt. Sinai. The Torah is the wedding ketubah between God and his people. Keeping the Torah is wisdom and understanding.
