Journey from Egypt to Mt Zion Pt 19~ Defeating our Spiritual Giants

In order to do the Will of God in our lives, we must “cross the Jordan.” Jordan in Hebrew means “to descend.” It represents us making a decision to not live our lives to do our own will. When we seek to do the Will of God in our lives, we are spiritually ascending (making aliyah) into our spiritual promise land. The goal of the journey is Jerusalem or m Mount Zion. In order to do the Will of God in our lives, we must defeat seven giants of the flesh and carnal mind who will try to keep us from doing and fulfilling the Will of God in our lives. The seven giants of the flesh and carnal mind are represented by Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
