Abraham grew in his spiritual maturity by obeying the Torah: And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws. Genesis 26:4-5 The bride of Yeshua loves Yeshua and His Torah with her whole heart. We are commanded to be spiritually mature. The bride of Messiah is spiritually mature and without blemish. Abraham was given an instruction and a promise. Abraham was called out of Babylon. The bride of Messiah is called out of Babylon. The God of Israel makes another covenant promise to Abraham (Genesis 15:1-5). Abraham’s righteousness is based on him believing the promise of God. Abraham expressed faith/trust in the promises of God. The promises of God are based upon covenant relationship with him. Abraham’s life and calling is a spiritual picture of the life and calling of the bride of Messiah and the journey that she is to take.
