Passover is known as the Festival of Freedom. Why is Passover called the Festival of Freedom? For the children of Israel it was deliverance from their physical bondage to Pharoah. It teaches us about our deliverance that Yeshua provides for us from our spiritual bondage to sin. Yeshua is our Passover lamb. The blood of the lamb was put on the doorpost. Yeshua is the door. The doorpost is a circumcised heart. Yeshua is the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world. John 1:29 Yeshua is our Passover lamb: I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
