Journey from Egypt to Mt Zion Pt 8 ~ Living an “Unleavened Lifestyle”

The lamb was eaten with unleavened bread. Leavened bread represents sin. Leaven represents works of the flesh. Leaven represents the things that YHVH hates. Unleavened bread represents being without sin. The lamb was eaten with bitter herbs. Bitterness represents being disobedient to YHVH and to His Torah. Bitterness is linked with rebellion. Bitterness represents hardships, trials and testings. The lamb was roasted with fire. Fire represents judgment. Fire also represents refinement and purification. Fire also represents the trials of our faith: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:7 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations [trials]. James 1:2 We follow up Passover with the Feast of Unleavened bread. Unleavened bread represents living our lives with sincerity and truth: Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as you are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. 1 Cor 5:7-8 Are these teachings a blessing to you?
