Journey Into Techstep Drum&Bass
from DJ SUBWAY Hosted by DJ SUBWAY
Techstep, the darkest and most uncompromising branch of drum & bass. A colder, heavier, and more futuristic sound. With this DJ mix, I want to take you far away from pop structures, radio-friendly hooks, and commercial compromises, and into a world created for listeners searching for something authentic. This mix is built on deep sub bass, razor-sharp drums, industrial textures, and dystopian sci-fi atmospheres. I've spent countless hours carefully curating every track and deciding exactly where it belongs in the journey. There have been endless test recordings, revisions, and fresh attempts before I finally managed to record the entire mix in a single live take with no major mistakes. This mix was recorded and performed live in a dark studio, behind two CDJs and an Allen & Heath mixer. No edits. No shortcuts. Just a carefully crafted journey through authentic techstep drum & bass. Enjoy!
