Journey Through Genesis: ”Becoming Israel” — The Return of Jacob (8/9)

A careful study of Genesis 32-36. The sessions will focus on the transformation of Jacob as reflected in the descriptions of his return from exile. Particular attention will be given to Jacob’s wrestling with his mysterious adversary in chapter 32, the episode of Dinah in chapter 34, and the death of Rachel in chapter 35.
