The son of promise - A reminder – nothing is impossible for God § Great things happen when God mixes with us The bearer of the covenant (Gn 17:19-21; 18:14) A type of the Gentile Christian Community (Rm 9:7; Gal 4:28-29) as he is a son not merely by carnal descent but by promise. A type / a shadow / a prefiguration of Jesus - Born because of the divine intervention - Fruit of the promise of God - Covenantal fruit – Jesus – born of the divine intervention and Divine Himself Fulfillment of God’s promise – the Saviour and Redeemer He’s the covenant – sealed with His own Blood – had both Divine and Human in His Being (The Fullness of the Covenant)
