Mary was created by God with great love and care because the Son of God – the Word was to take flesh from her. God created us in His own image and likeness Genesis 1:26-27 God created us with His own hands Genesis 2:7 Psalm 139:13ff Isaiah 44:24 Difference between us and Mary She was made sinless as were Adam and Eve. That is why Mary is called the Immaculate. She was created Immaculate not for her own sake but for the sake of all human beings for our salvation. Through the sacraments, God gives us grace – sanctifying graces that were obtained by Jesus through His life, suffering, death, and resurrection. Action Questions to be reflected: About my appearance (Body - outer & inner being) Do I like the way I am created – I appear? Am I happy with my features of the body? What do I don’t like in my body? Why? About the Sacraments: Am I aware of the Nature and the Power of the Sacraments of Jesus given through the Church? How do I participate in them? Do I experience any difference after participating in the Sacraments?
