INSPIRATION: Journeying with God is not a hundred metres dash. You're not in a Sprint either. It is rather a distance in the Spirit, where you yield your totality to His Supremacy. It is to follow as He leads, taking the lessons as they come. Here, you do not determine your move up the ladder because until you pass His test, you'll not be released to advance. Journeying with God will task your patience and challenge your faith. It is a sojourn of encounters, and sometimes, battles or burden bearing. In this journey, you cannot measure your progress by the number of spiritual gifts you operate in or by the number of spiritual exercises you embark on but by the depth of your love, commitment, passion and understanding of God. It is a journey that requires you to deny yourself and take up your cross daily. Journeying with God is an avenue to build spiritual stamina, develop resilience that is fueled by a deeper hunger for fellowship with the Holy Spirit, who reveals the Father to us with clarity, etc. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: ‭‭Journeying with God comes at a cost. You've to be willing to obediently pay the price to get the prize (Isaiah 1: 19). PRAYER: Dear Lord, please order my steps to align to your leading. Draw me closer as a take this journey of my destiny. Keep me away from evil and all that may derail me from a deeper walk with you. I lay aside every weight or desire that could make me stumble in my journey with You. Take me deeper in love and fellowship with You until I reach my journey's end, in Jesus name.
